Yamaha U3H upright piano, built in 1970 and reconditioned by Yamaha in Japan before being shipped to Chappells of Bond Street for sale in 2011. Full provenance assured and original sale documentation retained. Serial Number 1540941. Excellent piano for all grades, up to and including Diploma level playing, with a rich sound and a balanced touch all across the keyboard. Ideally suited for a larger room, but works well even in a small house, due to a practice/celeste pedal in the centre, enabling much quieter playing. Nearly new condition, keeps tuning excellently well and has a full, bright, resonant tone. One small wear in the celeste/practice mode felt, on the D above Middle C, which would need replacing. Occasional small marks and bumps near the base on the legs, due to being in a family home for 7 years, but nothing major. Comes with a good-quality adjustable stool. I am able to arrange shipping and go 50/50 on moving costs for a genuine and trustworthy buyer. |
