||Yamaha Bass Clarinet YCL 221 series ii .I have upgraded to Selmer low C. The Yamaha 221 bass down to low Eb is by far the best intermediate bass on the market, and is in my view the only intermediate bass that blows anywhere near as easily as a Selmer. It blows very easily particularly over the break, a problem area on most basses. I have loaned it to several professional colleagues, mostly sitting on gigs next to me, even one friend whose Selmer was in for a service and they have all remarked on how good it is, and I've not experienced any intonation issues with them next to me either. One has even gone out and bought a new one at over £2000, prior to me up grading.(Doh!!!!!) lt has a big rich sound, excellent tuning and intonation and I have used it for 4 yours on a wide range of professional work including recordings. It has nickle plated keys, has leather pads and is in pretty much as new condition. The case is also in excellent condition with only a couple of minor scuffs on the out side. There is no mouthpiece with this sale. More photos and a short video of me playing is available on request. UK Buyers only and Cash on collection or depending on your location could meet half way.
