Mathias Heinicke 1923's German Double Bass. Very nice instrument dated 1923 in excellent condition. Classic Violin shape Double Bass with Tyrolean style tuning machines, made of Spruce (Top) and Maple (back and sides). It has been recently restored with a new fingerboard and bridge with adjusters. Very rounded and full bodied sound. Sings very well, especially in the upper register. Includes case and straps. String length: 105,8 cm Length of back: 112,5 cm. String stop: D (G string) Based in London. Trials welcome. |
